Abstract

This paper reviews occupational exoskeletons developed for manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and static holding. It examines trends in applications, mechanical architectures, and control strategies, and includes a bibliometric analysis of the recent literature. The review highlights the rapid growth of the field and identifies areas where future systems can improve usability and performance.
